Danilo "Dan" Torres

Dr. Danilo Philip “Dan” Torres is a Filipino physician, civic leader, and dedicated Rotarian who currently serves as District Governor of Rotary International District 3790 for Rotary Year 2025–2026. In this role, he provides leadership and guidance to Rotary clubs across Northwest and Central Luzon, helping coordinate service projects, strengthen club development, and advance Rotary’s global mission of “Service Above Self.”

Professionally, Dr. Torres is a medical doctor whose career reflects a strong commitment to public service and community welfare. Alongside his medical practice, he has been actively involved in civic and humanitarian initiatives, working with organizations and local communities to promote health, education, and social development.

As District Governor, Dr. Torres oversees district-wide programs that support key focus areas of Rotary International, including disease prevention and treatment, basic education and literacy, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, community economic development, and environmental sustainability. He also leads leadership training programs, district assemblies, and official club visits to strengthen collaboration among Rotarians, Rotaractors, and community partners.

A long-time member of the Rotary Club of Baguio North, Dr. Torres has served Rotary in various leadership roles before assuming the district’s highest office. Throughout his Rotary journey, he has been recognized for his dedication to service, mentorship of emerging leaders, and his efforts to expand Rotary’s impact through partnerships and community-driven initiatives.

Through both his professional career and his Rotary leadership, Dr. Torres continues to champion projects that improve lives, inspire volunteerism, and build stronger communities throughout the district and beyond.
