Message from the District Governor

August is Membership and New Club Development Month

Dear Fellow Rotarians and Rotaractors of District 3790,

August reminds us that the greatest strength of Rotary is not found in our projects or our achievements, but in our members.

Every new member brings fresh ideas, renewed energy, and greater opportunities to create lasting impact. But growing Rotary is not only about inviting new members. It is equally about valuing those who are already with us and reconnecting with those who once called Rotary their home.

This month, I encourage every Rotarian to make membership personal. Invite a friend, a colleague, a family member, or a community leader to experience Rotary. Reach out to members who have become less active. Reconnect with former members and invite them back. A simple conversation or a sincere invitation can help shape the future of a club.

Let us also be bold in organizing new clubs. Every new club expands Rotary's reach, develops new leaders, and creates more opportunities to serve our communities.

As we grow our membership, let us also strengthen The Rotary Foundation, which makes our service possible. I challenge every club in District 3790 to contribute at least US$1,000 to the Annual Fund and US$100 to PolioPlus by the end of August. Together, let us achieve our goal of becoming an All Club Giving District, ensuring that every club helps transform generosity into life-changing service around the world.

Membership growth and Foundation giving go hand in hand. The more we grow Rotary and support our Foundation, the more lives we can touch.

This August, let each of us invite one, reconnect with one, and inspire one. Together, let us continue to grow Rotary, strengthen our clubs, and create lasting impact in every community we serve.

Message from the District Governor

Dear Fellow Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Partners in Service,

With a heart full of gratitude and humility, I accept the privilege and responsibility of serving as your District Governor for Rotary Year 2026-2027. I thank God for His guidance, my family for their love and support, my mentors for their encouragement, and each of you for your trust and friendship throughout this remarkable journey.

As we begin this new Rotary year, I do so with hope and excitement for what we can accomplish together. Rotary has always been more than an organization. It is a family united by a common purpose: to serve others, strengthen communities, and make a positive difference in the world. Every act of kindness, every service project, and every life we touch adds to Rotary’s lasting impact.

Our vision for District 3790 is clear: a Truly United District of Empowered Clubs and Rotarians. United not only by geography, but by our shared values, mutual respect, friendship, and commitment to Service Above Self. Empowered clubs become stronger clubs. Empowered Rotarians become better leaders. Together, we can accomplish far more than any one of us can alone.

This Rotary year, I invite every member to answer District 3790’s call to action: J.U.M.P. Jumpstart Change. Unleash Potential. Make Lasting Impact. Perform with Excellence. It is a call to embrace new opportunities, strengthen our clubs, develop future leaders, expand our reach, and increase our impact in the communities we serve.

No District Governor can achieve this vision alone. The strength of our district comes from every club, every project, every volunteer, and every Rotarian who chooses to make a difference. Together, we can inspire hope, transform lives, and create lasting impact.

As your District Governor, I promise to lead with integrity, transparency, humility, and compassion. I will listen, support, encourage, and work alongside you. Together, we will celebrate our successes, learn from one another, and build a district where every club has the opportunity to grow and succeed.

Thank you for your dedication to Rotary and for the many ways you make a difference each day. I look forward to visiting your clubs, sharing ideas, building friendships, and serving alongside you throughout this exciting year.
